The story of this day of the year from the book I received for the Father's day in 1990 my Daddy read me anytime I was with me remind me how life is beautiful when there is a dog in your house.
In the book I self-published two years ago one of the narrators of the story is a dog who barks the mmulticultural story I wrote during my European experience in Romania with other volunteers from Armenia, Bulgaria, Catalunya and France. The illustrations of this book were made by a really talentuous artist, Rosa Iannello, alias CinnaMom.

Giorgia's skates
For her birthday Giorgia received a nice pair of roller skates. She is now in the backyard, stroking them ecstatically, when Marta arrives to show her little friend her new Barbie clothes. One of the skates abandoned on the lawn rolls down the slope, all the way to Billy's kennel! The dog sleepily stuck his head out, sniffed the strange object, then kicked it to the back of the kennel. "These men, they always invent a new one!" he thought and went back to sleep. But what a nasty surprise for Giorgia when he returned! A skate is missing. The baby bursts into tears. "Who could have taken my skate?" she wonders, and it occurs to her that wolfdogs, solve all police cases. She runs to Billy: "Help me, please, smell this skate, find me the other one!" she pleads with him, and the dog, with a questioning look, stares at her; then she goes into the kennel, takes the other mysterious object, and brings it to Giorgia, who was speechless. Billy returns to the kennel and goes back to sleep; "These men," he thinks, "just strange!"
