Once upon a time, there was a young boy called Meteku'. Despite he was orphan, his neighbours wanted that he disappears. A day, when he was out of his home, the neighbours killed his only cow and they share between them the meat. In order that he understands he was not a victim of hyenas, they left the leather of the cow on the door. He understood who were his enemies, but without say anything he went to the market to sell the leather. But anyone wanted to buy it. He wandered for all week and the leather became totally dried. Taking advantage of his absence, his neighbours put on fire his home. Meteku' started to come back at home. Before to reach his village became dark and he stopped near a tree to protect himself from hyenas and other wild animals. Under the same tree there were a group of rich merchants with their camels because near there was a spring. During the night, Meteku', changing position he did a weird noise with his dried leather that he used as a mattress. The merchants, never imagine could be a man on the tree, they thought was a devil and they went away leaving there all their merchandise. Meteku' didn't understand the reason of their escape, but he is being afraid of them came back he waited for 3 long days. When he was aware that they never came back anymore, he took the decision to take with him their goods to the market and in a few days, he became rich. When he came back, he didn't hold a grudge for everything that his neighbours did to him and he ordered to build a home like to the king's. His neighbours didn't understand the mystery. At the inauguration of his new home he invited all the people of the town, without any exception, and they asked him the origin of his prosperity. He answered them: "Thanks to my leather's cow". And they, for became rich like him, take the decision to kill their own cows and sell the leathers. But they can't gain more than the value of it. Then one of them thought that if they put on fire their own houses they could be rich like Meteku'. Everybody put on fire on their own houses. But any goodness came. Homeless and poor they started to beg. But Meteku' had compassion of them and he ordered to build again their own houses. The wisdom and the kindness of Meteku' became popular in all the country. A young princess asked to her father to introduce him to her. When she met him for the first time, beyond his wisdom, she was hurt by his beauty. And she married him despite he didn't any prodigious adventures.
